This piece took a long time to finally come together.  With that in mind I knew that this piece was my take on metamorphosis and how change happens over time.  How we all change into something new over time; often it is into something beautiful. 
 
To create this piece I had to cut each circular piece out and then grind it all down. Real gears of old clocks were installed into this.
